Brendan M. Everett is a cardiologist (heart doctor) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS). Dr. Everett’s work is focused on preventing heart attack, heart failure, stroke, amputation, and death from heart disease in people with type 2 diabetes. He believes the PRECIDENTD study will provide people with diabetes and their doctors with important information to help them decide how best to treat their disease and to prevent heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and other diseases.
